The Saturday before Easter we took Judah to an Easter Egg hunt. Unfortunately, due to Judah's nap, we missed the actual hunt. Thankfully Judah is still too young to know that. So, we took some empty eggs (he doesn't need the candy any way!) and had our own little hunt. As expected he was more interested in eating grass than picking up eggs. We then felt assured we aren't the worst parents in the world for missing the hunt.
I'm so excited to have found your blog! I can't believe this is the same Judah we took a meal to so many months ago... He will be a big kid when you guys move back! Me and the girls were at that Ft. Worth Stockyard last month too (my bro got married). I can just picture you guys navigating that thing down there. HA! Glad to see you guys are enjoying Texas!!
I'm glad you found the blog too Melanie! I know, It doesn't seem like that long ago that we were bringing him home for the first time! Glad you can picture our location of our crazy experience in your mind, haha!
I like his easter egg bucket! :) Also, he just looks too big in that last picture!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, thanks to you we had the bucket handy, Kim! I know he really does look like a big boy there :).
