We don't have many pictures from our Journey, but we did happen to take a lot of videos. Adam is more diligent about recording most of our travels and, as you can imagine, using the video camera was easier for him to do than taking pictures while driving our massive vehicle. Here's a fun one of Judah. I think we were outside Memphis in this video. Actually I think we had just passed Jackson, TN - hence the Johnny Cash (I know, I know, the song isn't about Jackson TN). Enjoy!
P.S. I will start to post some current stuff soon :).

Our Journey
I guess our journey has to start with our vehicle of choice. We drove a 26 foot long U-haul with a trailer towing our Honda Pilot behind it. And yes, Adam, Judah, and I were all in the cab of said U-haul. Frankly we looked like a bunch of rednecks from East Tennessee (maybe that's because we are, haha)!

We had a very good trip considering we were traveling with a 12 month old. We got to spend some time in Franklin with my family and friends, then made our way on to Texas. We only had to drive about 4-5 hours a day so that definitely helped Judah out.

I think my favorite story (of which we had many) is when we had to drive the U-haul down Exchange Ave in Fort Worth. They have a cattle drive re-enactment in the historic Fort Worth stockyards every day which happens to run right down Exchange Ave. You can see where this is going, but we happened to drive down Exchange Ave right as crowds of people are collecting to watch the cattle drive. Basically people were looking at us like we were complete idiots as Adam tries to maneuver the U-haul into our hotel's parking lot. A nice man finally stepped up and helped us to avoid taking out some innocent by-standers.
In the end we made it safely to San Angelo with little mishaps along the way. It is very obvious the Lord was protecting us! We're very thankful!

Settling In
Hello everyone! I don't quite know where to start, but I seem to be getting more requests for pictures of our new home than anything else. So I will start with an update of the here and now then I will go back and let you all know some of our traveling adventures (preview: picture me, Adam, and Judah all in a 26 foot U-haul - then picture Adam trying to park it). But until then...

So there's a few pictures for you! Thanks for visiting our blog!
